ACTIVITIES & EVENTS
here's a few ways
you can support
honey helping hands:
A one-of-a-kind celebration focused on chill vibes and connection with community changemakers across every field. 44 Shades of Tan: A Brunch Bash also celebrates the 44th birthday of Honey Helping Hands' Founder & Executive Director, ShaJuan Chance Underwood. 44 is also a shoutout
to the Obamas, the first Black family
in the White House, and is most importantly where we celebrate The Connectors, The Creators, and The Cultivators who shape culture and build community.

honey hive
soccer collective
A series of soccer and leadership sessions for girls ages 6–18 and women coaches. Participants learn teamwork, discipline, and communication through skill-building drills, mentorship circles, and confidence-boosting play.
Purpose: To promote physical health, leadership, and connection through sport — amplifying the capacity of girls to see themselves as both players and leaders on and
off the field.

The honeycomb wellness retreat
A one-day or weekend self-care experience for women focused on physical wellness, nutrition,
mindfulness, and movement.
Purpose: To nurture mind, body, and spirit through collective healing practices, self-reflection, and sisterhood.
DADDY'S DAY CARE: A community event designed to give mothers and caregivers a moment of rest (during the Wellness Retreat) while fathers and male guardians spend intentional time with their children through games, creative activities, and heartfelt competition.
Purpose: To support shared caregiving, receive community assistance with fatherhood journeys, and offer women
time to recharge.

family
fitness games
Inspired by the "Field Day" relay games of our youth, this high-energy family day invites households to compete in creative physical and mental challenges that promote teamwork, nutrition awareness, problem-solving, and laughter.
Purpose: To strengthen family bonds, boost enthusiasm for health and movement, and build joy across generations.
